• Maximum squad size: 9 players

Team registration: 9:30am

Managers meeting: 9:40am

First kick-off: 10:00am

£5 per vehicle

Site Rules

No smoking or vaping

No dogs allowed

Cash and card accepted at catering facilities

Photographer present throughout the weekend

Group Stage

• Two groups per age group (typically six teams each)

• Teams play each other once

• 3 points for a win

• 1 point for a draw

• Games are 10 minutes long

• No half-time

• Three-minute intervals between matches

Competition Rules

• Players may only represent one team.

• Teams not ready on time will forfeit and lose 1-0.

• Top two teams from each group qualify for the semi-finals.

Tie Breakers

Teams level on points are separated by:

1. Goal difference

2. Goals scored

3. Head-to-head record

If teams remain level, a penalty shootout will decide qualification.

Awards

• Winners receive medals and a trophy.

• Runners-up receive medals.

• Under 8 teams also receive participation medals.

Semi-Finals and Final

10-minute matches

No halves

Winners progress to the final

No third-place play-off

Penalty Shootouts

If scores are level:

Five penalties per team

Alternate takers

Sudden death if still tied

Goalkeeper takes the first sudden-death penalty

Kick-Off

Home team supplies the match ball and chooses ends.

Away team kicks off.

Matches start and finish on the referee's signal.

General Rules

No offside.

No retreat rule.

Opponents must stand five yards from kick-offs.

Goals cannot be scored directly from kick-off.

Restarts

Under 8s, Under 9s and Under 10s

Kick-ins instead of throw-ins.

Under 11s and Above

Normal throw-ins.

Free Kicks

All free kicks are direct.

Defenders must stand at least three yards away.

Penalties

Awarded only for fouls inside the area.

Taken from the marked penalty spot.

Other players must remain two yards outside the area.

Goalkeepers

Cannot kick directly from their hands.

May throw underarm or overarm.

May play from the ground.

May not handle a back pass.

May leave their area but cannot handle the ball outside it.

Heading

Allowed from Under 11s upwards.

No heading for Under 8s, Under 9s or Under 10s.

Throw-Ins

Used from Under 11s upwards.

Under 10s and below is kick / dribble in.

Match balls will follow normal league sizes for each age group. 

Referees

Referees are volunteers.

Their decisions are final.

Discipline

Any player sent off is excluded from the remainder of the tournament.

Tournament committee decisions are final.

Respect Campaign

Managers are responsible for the behaviour of:

Players

Parents

Supporters

Abusive behaviour towards officials may be reported to the relevant County FA.

Safeguarding

Teams must provide:

At least one DBS-checked coach

Appropriate safeguarding qualifications

Medical information for players

Necessary medication for participants

Spectators

Unacceptable behaviour may result in:

Removal from the tournament

Team disqualification

Photography Consent

Parents and carers are deemed to have provided consent for photography. Anyone wishing to opt out should notify the organisers.
